What I actually enjoy is the puzzle. Someone shows me a process held together by spreadsheets, sticky notes, and three people copying data between tabs. I take it apart and rebuild it into something that runs on its own.
The part clients mention most isn't the tech. It's that they always know what's going on. I explain every setup in plain language - what it does, why it's built that way, and what happens if something breaks. No jargon walls. No black boxes.
